How we protect the Platform and how to report a vulnerability.

Last updated 25 July 2026 1 min read Version 1.0

1. Platform controls

  • HTTPS everywhere with modern TLS
  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Payment processing handled by regulated payment gateways
  • Passwords stored using industry-standard hashing
  • Role-based access control on the back-office
  • Automated backups of production data
  • Continuous monitoring and logging

2. Reporting a vulnerability

If you believe you have found a security issue, please email security@liyad.co.za with details and steps to reproduce. Do not publicly disclose the issue until we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate.

3. Responsible disclosure

We commit to acknowledging valid reports promptly, investigating in good faith, and, where appropriate, publicly crediting reporters after a fix is deployed.

Platform responsibility statement
